Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of RevBooster (the "App"), a Shopify app provided by RevBooster ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and operate a Shopify store in good standing to use the App.

2. The App

The App provides:

• Storefront widgets for recently-viewed products and product recommendations (upsell, cross-sell, downsell).
• Optional AI ranking of recommendations using product metadata.
• Merchant analytics (impressions, clicks, click-through rate) and configuration tools.

3. Subscription & billing

• The App offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan with a monthly recurring fee billed via Shopify's Billing API.
• Pro includes a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.
• After the trial, fees recur monthly until cancelled. Shopify processes all payments; we do not store payment card information.
• Refunds are at our sole discretion and are processed via Shopify.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to access non-public APIs.
• Use the App in a way that creates undue load on our infrastructure or that of our subprocessors.
• Resell or sublicense the App.

5. Customer data

The App is designed to store no customer personal data — see our Privacy Policy. To the limited extent any data is processed on your behalf, you are the controller and we are a processor acting on your instructions.

6. Third-party services

The App integrates with Shopify and, when AI features are enabled, Google's Gemini API (product metadata only). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of these services.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but provide the App "as is" without uptime guarantees. Planned maintenance will be announced where reasonably possible.

8. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the App. You retain ownership of your data. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for the duration of your active subscription.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the App is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

10. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time via your Shopify admin. We may terminate your access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay.
